Welcome to Taunton CS Radiac and Outcasts Cricket Club. A very long name, which was created by the merger of 2 long established local, cricket Clubs.
Both sides – Outcasts & Radiac - had played cricket in Taunton for many years but membership was falling and following a meeting in November 1997 it was agreed to become a single club based at the home of Outcasts – Taunton Civil Service.
Both on and off the playing field the merger has been a success. In the ten full playing years the club has grown significantly, the first 2 seasons saw the club play with only a single senior team, our first youth team started in 2000 and a second senior team was introduced in 2001. 2006 was a season of success with promotion back to Division 1 for the 1st XI, the U17 winning the Lloyd & Whyte Cup and the U13's winning the League with a flawless 12 wins out of 12 record.
2007 saw success with the U15's winning the league, and hopefully 2008 will bring more success for our 2 senior teams and 3 junior sides.
TCSRO 2's finished the first half of the season with a flawless unbeaten record. Once again Homer lost the toss and the Bishops decided to bat on what looked to be a very grassy surface. Ben struggled
